The Islamic Knowledge Foundation is a registered Florida non-profit organisation. We are the data controller for information collected through this site.

Analytics data We use Matomo Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics platform, to collect anonymised information about how visitors use this site. This includes pages viewed, time spent on the site, browser type, device type, and general geographic location derived from anonymised IP addresses. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Newsletter subscriptions If you subscribe to receive new articles from IKF, we collect your email address. This is processed by Jetpack, a service provided by Automattic, Inc. Your email address is used solely to send you notifications when new articles are published.

Contact form submissions When you submit a message through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, selected subject, and message. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry.

Social sharing This site includes sharing buttons for Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, and X (formerly Twitter). These buttons may load scripts from those platforms when the page loads, which may result in those platforms collecting data about your visit. We do not control the data practices of those platforms. 3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

  • To send new article notifications to newsletter subscribers

  • Analytics data is retained in Matomo for 12 months
  • Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe
  • Contact form submissions are retained for 12 months and then deleted

  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict the processing of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

8. Analytics Opt-Out
